Charis Williams is a wellness coach, personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist and health education specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She wrote the book 'A Measure of Health' to share everything she learned about how to improve overall health while also achieving a smaller waist with lifestyle changes. She also created a small cookbook of her own recipes ‘Belly Fat Recipes and Evidence-Based Tips’ to help make healthy living more appetizing. Charis's approach helps to break difficult cycles of self-sabotaging behavior through finding intrinsic (inner) motivation.
She firmly believes in making lifestyle changes to result in the most permanent and positive changes to our health. Her passion for healthy living runs deep. She encourages her clients to think of their waists as a barometer of health rather than solely cosmetic. She uses this perspective to overcome her own health struggles and to empower others to find a better quality of life through healthy living.
